Any effort to enhance the social standing of dog owners has to be good.

All dog owners are responsible for the actions of their dogs this includes the biting end and the pooping end. I own a dog care (Home Boarding) business and engage a specialist “poop” man to dispose of any waste in my garden. We also carry poop bags when out on walks. If we want our animals and ourselves to be accepted and loved by the community that we live in we have to scoop the poop.

I’ve worked with organics and food waste for 20 years. I suggest that a worm farm is a better alternative.

You’ll need a dedicated worm bin for dog poop only, no food scraps. The worms love it AND you get a high-quality fertilizer you can use on all plants.

I flush my dog’s poops down the toilet with a flushable dog poop bag. Most eco-friendly way to get rid of dog poop.There are flushable dog poop bags.
The best answer probably because dog poop can get treated just as your poop is. Throwing dog poop into the trash overcrowds our landfills and pollutes our water system.

I picked up some bio-degradable bags at the Ottawa Eco-Fair this past summer, and was told they can be placed completely into my regular compost.

I am not a gardener, so our compost merely percolates and does it’s thing.

I used to be really good about flushing the droppings, but the bags were always still an issue. Hoping that the bio-degradable bags make a difference…
