(Ottawa Dog of the Week for June 1st/09)

“Stormy is my best friend and my little angel.
Stormy, a purebred pomeranian, was a show dog at age one. Then he retired and came to live with us. He is now 10 years old and still behaves like a puppy!
He is a clown and he makes me laugh and smile so much. At first, he wasn’t really what I expected. He had really strange habits. But now it’s become his “signature style” and he’s really quite an interesting character. Stormy loves fashion. He loves to dress up for a photo shoot. He looks hilarious in almost every outfit. And he doesn’t mind humouring his audience. But he has a “look but don’t touch” attitude. He loves it when people look at him and his clothes but he doesn’t want to be coddled!
Stormy’s favourite toy is a simple round squeaky disc. He likes to drop it from the top floor to the bottom floor, then run downstairs and pick it up, and run upstairs and drop it again! Playing fetch with Stormy is all one way. I’ll give him the squeaky but he never brings it back. So we don’t play fetch!
Stormy’s favourite snack is anything! He’s not picky. He likes cheese, carrots, apple and meat. Stormy’s favourite friend is Callie, our other pomeranian. They are best friends and are respectful of each other’s quirks.
Stormy is a great gift and enriches my life more than I could ever imagine.” – Stormy’s Mom, Ming

Yay! I was at Bruce Pit this weekend too, my pomeranian Skittles enjoyed meeting other pom puppies
Stormy looks awfully cute in his outfits. Which one is his favourite?
Hi,
I’ll be in Ottawa in early July and wanted to look into any pomeranian pups that I could adopt…anyone know of any reputable breeders there??
I’ve been trying to find one as well, but it’s a difficult process. It’s hard finding a reputable breeder with a reasonable price, that’s also local.
There’s one an hour South of Ottawa if you’re willing to pay 1,500$ for a Pomeranian — not including breeding rights and neutering.
