Canine Pool Party

Ever want to take your dog to the pool? Well now you can! This summer, the City of Ottawa wading pool located at Kiwanis Park in Vanier is offering dog owners the opportunity to let their dog play in the pool between 6-7pm every Tuesday until we close August 20th.

Just a bit of information about the pool: it closes to bathers at 6pm so there will be no contact between dogs and swimmers. Owners cannot swim with their dogs. When full the pool is three and a half feet at its deepest point however, this is so only for a short time because we begin to drain the pool at 6pm.

The address is 395 Levis St, Vanier. From Montreal Rd, turn on Lafontaine and then left on Levis.
