Rupert is a small crossroads “village” just outside Wakefield, QC. Wakefield is a picturesque village on the Gatineau River with wonderful restaurants, artisan shops and artists’ studios. Catherine Lane brings a lifetime of experience in nutrition, canine care, and herbalism both human and canine, to her work with natural health. She works with holistic veterinarians all over the world developing home made diets for dogs with health conditions, as well as proactive diets for healthy dogs, seniors and puppies.

She has been published in The Bark and numerous breed periodicals, and is the nutrition referral person for Dr. Edward Beltran at the Blair Hospital in Ottawa. She holds a diploma in Canine Nutrition from the Companion Animal Science Institute, also based in Ottawa, and is pursuing a Master Herbalist diploma with Dominion
College in Burnaby, with a focus on canine applications.
