Westminster Pet Sanctuary was mentioned in the paper as well as the SPCA of Western Quebec but apparently they didn't mention BARK at all so I thought I'd highlight them. I'm sure if you called either of the other rescues that they will definitely take donations too! Yes they are. I don't understand why the owner is not being charged for leaving the dogs in that environment. surely he made money with his sledding business and then left the dogs to suffer/die. I really don't understand. I'm very grateful that the dogs were found and the rescue groups are able to help. It’s a terrible situation for all the dogs. Congratulations on saving so many gorgeous dogs! I am curious as to why they haven't decided to abort the puppies though? Not only is very dangerous for the moms and the foster homes that will hold them...but do we really need 240+ more homeless dogs when there are already so many that need spots?
