We’ve been having quite the summer – it’s actually been warm for days on end and it is just wonderful.
While we enjoy this heat, our four legged family members might not. Dogs do not handle the heat as well as humans do so please take care and be aware of how it affects your dog.

My two lhasa apsos have been spending more time during the day in my basement level where it’s cooler. We don’t go out until late afternoon or sometimes even early evening when the sun is not as strong. It’s funny because it’s my dogs who let me know when it’s time to turn on the A/C.
My Marley, a very fluffy golden mix, lies down in front of the A/C, slings his head back and smiles as the breeze blows in his face. He will sit like that for hours!
