(Ottawa Dog of the Week for January 16th, 2012)
“Hola! My name is Luke and I’m a seven month old Border Collie/Lab mix. I tricked my new mom and sister a lot when they first saw me at the rescue centre I came from, I looked exactly like a Lab puppy, but soon enough I grew these long legs and these funny little ears and like to click my teeth when I want something. I’ve been living here since I was three months old and I love it very much. I’ve been to lots of functions for dog rescues since I got here and I like the idea that maybe from meeting me, some people have adopted dogs. My very best friend is my family’s cat, Casey, but he’s not too fond of me because I like to play a lot. I love everybody I meet and I think they quite like me because I’m quite the klutz but at least I’m cute! My sister loves to take pictures of me and says I’m handsome, and everybody says I’ve got soul because of the soul patch on my chin and the fact I always know when someone needs a cuddle. Overall I’m a nice guy even though sometimes my puppy antics drive my mom up the wall! But when I’m older and have calmed down a bit, my mom and sister want to start fostering other dogs again, so I’m excited for that day and I’ll work super hard on my training so it can come sooner! Anyways, I have to go wake the cat up, so look at my pictures!” Lukers McGoo.

Luke looks EXACTLY like my dog, who is also a Border Collie/lab/something mix…wow.
If this little one is not related to my little guy… I’ll be surprised. I can’t get over the fact they look like twins.
