(Ottawa Dog of the Week for June 18th, 2012)
“Bella is a 5 month old cockapoo (cocker spaniel-poodle mix) puppy. Since she entered my home she has been a complete joy! She’s a feisty little girl who is hard to tire out. She has never met a person or a dog that she hasn’t gotten along with! Her favourite activities include: getting belly rubs, playing fetch and going for long walks/playing with other dogs at the New Edinburgh off-leash dog park. She also loves going to the Ottawa Canine School puppy play dates where she shows all the other puppies how to behave like an angel. At 5 months she can already sit, stay, shake a paw, speak and be quiet (well, working on the “quiet” command.) She dislikes getting her nails trimmed and taking baths! But she needs baths very often because she loves to run all around wherever she can, especially in the mud on a nice spring day!
Bella is quite the traveling dog! She loves going for long car drives to visit family and friends in south western Ontario and falls right asleep right beside me. Bella has brought endless happiness into my life and is my BEST friend in the world!” Bella’s human, Chloe.
