I don’t give my dogs a lot of treats because I don’t like them eating chemicals or other questionable substances. When I read the ingredient list for Dodgie Dog’s Kitchen’s Classic Peanut Butter and Banana Treats, I was thrilled because I understood what everything was! I knew right away that my puppies would love them because they had two of their favourite foods – peanut butter and banana – and not a whole lot else. Honestly, I could eat them if I wanted to.
I won’t eat them though because Sonnet and Matilda would never forgive me. They LOVED these treats. From the second they smelled them, they went crazy. Matilda began jumping up and down and quivering with excitement. Sonnet plonked into a lie down (the position she must assume before she gets fed) and stared up at me with longing in her eyes.
Sonnet snatched her treat up and ran away to eat it, while Matilda essentially inhaled hers (she hasn’t quite got the hang of chewing her food). When I gave them a second one, Matilda somehow ended up with both of them between her feet! I had to rescue the other one for Sonnet (who promptly ran away with it to munch in peace).
Then they followed me around for the next five minutes just in case I felt like giving them any more!

These treats sound scrumptious, and do indeed sound almost-fit for this human’s consumption! Sabrina’s become a bit of an epicure when it comes to food – she looks at most dog bones as if to say, “seriously? would you eat that?” The one treat guaranteed to make her big bulbous shin tzu eyes roll back in her head are VitaLife Duck & Sweet Potato Twists, but I can only find them at Canadian Tire! Her all-time favorite thing to eat would be a New York strip loin steak, BBQ’ed rare, and hand-fed to her, piece-by-delicious-piece – but she doesn’t get that every day, so we’ll try some of the Dodgie Dog’s Kitchen Treats – if Sonnet and Matilda love them, I’m sure their mother will, too!
Our dog MacGyver’s favourite thing to eat is fruits and vegetables. He’s the first dog I’ve had that will preform tricks to get a piece of carrot lol!
My favourite treats thus far are Buffalo Blue Wilderness
Salmon Wild Bites, but I’m still just a pup! Maybe these guys could become my next favourite…
Sincerely,
Scoop
