(Ottawa Dog of the Week for September 17th, 2012)
Montecristo Travels is a long hair Chihuahua that has been the voice behind the more and more popular “Travel with Dog” blog of the same name. He has been to Europe, the US, and all over Canada. He sails, flies and takes the train. He’s also the new hero in Ottawa based published author Ingrid McCarthy newly re-published children’s book “The Black Pearl of Osis” (available on Amazon) where he … saves the world.
Montecristo is an ambassador for his breed, for the art of travel with small dog and is a calming presence wherever he goes. Staring in his own YouTube clips, having been on the runway for canine fashion icon Kiki Hamann, he’s been on the planks for theatre in the play “The Liar” … no matter what we throw at him… Montecristo shows a wonderful amount of grace, sass and spunk. He’s fearless and a joy. Meeting him is to love him.
This dog is NOT up for adoption. The Ottawa Dog of the Week posts feature a family dog in Ottawa. Each week an Ottawa dog gets to be a star.
The Ottawa Dog of the Week dogs are from loving homes and are not available for adoption.
