I have had a few requests of people trying to find similar or same breed dogs to be playmates for their pups.
If you have a Canaan or a Belgian Shepard, please contact me and I will pass it on!

We have added some great new merchandise to the Ottawa Dog Blog Store including new colours of polo shirts for men and women, kids clothing as well as baby onesies and bibs, dog bowls (small and large), travel mugs and new styles of shirts and hats.

I found the Licked Toys website through Doodle Dog Painting’s Blog the other day and instantly loved it.
LickedToys is the first dog toy graveyard ™. You send in pictures of your dog’s punctured squeakers and formally stuffed toys and we’ll post the best so that your dog toys may rest in pieces.
Every dog owner has probably had a toy die a horrible death involving exploded stuffing, so naturally I wanted to participate. Last year, Paddington got a hold of one of my friend’s Cat’s toys and somehow, leaving the toy in tact, ripped out the insides and exploded it all over her crate. This little cat toy meant the world to my friend’s cat and fortunately was able to be saved through an intricate surgery. The toy’s name is Mini-Willow.
I am very excited to tell you that Paddington was featured today on the blog!
I encourage you to send your photos in to them. I think this site is so much fun and will be checking it often!
I just realized that today is the last day of July and I have yet to do my monthly Etsy Post! In keeping with the baby theme from last month, this month I wanted to feature super-cute baby onesies!
Mooshy Gooshies has a cute line of onesies with stitched dogs – I love the way they look!
Unfortunately due to the constant rain, the group walk tonight has been canceled.
Please join us next Wednesday August 6th at 7:30pm!
On Sunday July 27th, BARK at the Ballpark was hosted by Bark and Fitz to raise funds for BARK Rescue. I was there taking photos and the highlight of the day was to have a photo taken with Duke the Great Dane – the largest Dane in Ottawa!
Here is a slideshow of the photos I took at the game. To see all of the photos bigger, click here.
