Firstly I want to say a GREAT BIG thank you to everyone who participated in this event, whether you entered your dog or voted online. We have had an overwhelming response with over 1500 email addresses registered to vote on the Dogs in Disguise. Everyone who participated looked great and the voting was SO CLOSE in some of the categories.
We raised a total of $230 for Hopeful Hearts with this event
Winners will need to come in to Bark and Fitz to claim their prize. Please call to let them know which location you are going to pick up your prize from.
First place winners will receive a prize package including a $50 Gift Certificate for Bark and Fitz, A 1 hr photo shoot with Liz from the Ottawa Dog Blog, a FREE pass for The Dog House Doggy Day Care and a 4×6 print of your photo from the contest.
This was a VERY close one. Charlie as “Halloween” won by only 2 votes! He had a total of 162 votes.
Caleb the scary looking Pirate saying “arrrrrrrrrrrgh” won with 227 votes.
The Rock Band Dogs belong to Amanda, from Bark and Fitz who has generously forfeited her winnings to the second place winner, therefore congratulations to…
Izabella and Karuzo as the Bride and Groom! They won with a total of 245 votes.
Bubba and Karine the Pirates won with a whopping 392 votes!

If you haven’t already found the world’s cutest costume for your pug then you’d better get moving. There will be trick and treats for every costumed pug.
A photograph will be present to take spooktacular souvenir photos during the evening. You will be able to view and download the photos for free. A pumpkin bin will be available for people interested in donating to UNDER MY WING – Pug Rescue.

Liz Bradley is a dog lover who lives in Ottawa, Ontario with her husband, Thomas, and their three little girls, Paddington, Corduroy and Wellington. Paddington is a Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie) and was born in September 2006 - she's a ball of energy and both Thomas and Liz love her to bits. Corduroy is a Malshi (Maltese/Shih Tzu) and was born in January 2008 - she is bold, determined and will lick you constantly if you let her. Wellington, our newest addition, is a one-year-old ShihTzu/Yorkie mix who we rescued in March from Animatch. She is full of energy and her favourite things are bananas, her Kong Wubba toy and curling up on her humans for a nap.
