The Nepean Sailing Club has an ongoing problem with Geese fouling some of the docks. It is particularly acute on one dock used by dinghy sailors. We have tried various ideas to keep the Geese away but with only limited and in most cases temporary success.
I have been told that if the geese are disturbed, but not harmed, on a regular basis they will eventually move elsewhere. A dog or dogs visiting the subject dock regularly might work. The Nepean Sailing Club would therefore like to invite a few local dog owners to include the Sailing Club on their routine dog walks. The Club is located in Dick Bell Park, adjoining Andrew Hayden Park in the west end of the city close to the junction of Carling and Holly Acres roads.
