When I received an email about the lost Shih Tzu, Casey last week, it got me thinking about what I would do if one of my dogs went missing. I would likely panic (a lot), and probably would have a nervous breakdown.
I felt it important, even just for myself, to write a post about what to do if your dog goes missing. It definitely is a very scary concept. No matter how small or big your dog is, the fact is that dogs move fast and sometimes cars can’t slow down quick enough. And then there were all those incidences with coyotes last year. The list of things that could happen are endless and I am sure that those things are all that you can think about when you don’t know where your dog is.

Liz Bradley is a dog lover who lives in Ottawa, Ontario with her husband, Thomas, and their two little girls, Paddington and Corduroy. Paddington is a Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie) and was born in September 2006 - she's a ball of energy and both Thomas and Liz love her to bits. Corduroy is a Malshi (Maltese/Shih Tzu) and was born in January 2008 - she is determined, loving and will lick you constantly if you let her.
