“Rita came to me on Oct 3rd 2005, through Bark rescue as one of the Katrina rescues. She was scared of everything and everybody, skin and bones and wouldn’t even come out of her crate. I had to pull the crate tray and carry her to get her out to do her business.
Rita’s birthday is Oct 3rd (the day she came into my life), and is approx 11 years old. She is now a very loving dog that loves children and will actually come over for a sniff and a gentle pat. She gets along very well with gentle dogs and really loves her cat buddy King. I think Rita is the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet. ” – Rita’s Mom, Anne
