Masters ‘n Dogs in Westboro is hosting the DOGS in DISGUISE Howl O Ween contest where the 3 winners will be determined by online voting.

Bring your DOG in DISGUISE to Masters ‘n DOGS, 354 Richmond Rd in Westboro Village during retail hours between October 20th to the 30th to register and have its photo taken. The $5 registration fee will be donated to BARK rescue.

This is not a “bring your own photo contest” or a “Halloween photo shoot”, it’s more of a photo ticket entry for an online voting contest.

CONTEST RULES

• photos must be taken by a staff member at Masters ‘n Dogs
• your dog can simply look like someone (Lady GaGa, Bono, Queen Elizabeth) or something ( clown, chocolate bar, a mop) to qualify–it does not necessarily have to be wearing a store bought costume
• homemade or put together costumes are strongly encouraged (wig, glasses, human apparel)
• what you name the disguise as will be just as important as to what your dog actually looks like for the photo

Firstly I want to say a GREAT BIG thank you to everyone who participated in this event, whether you entered your dog or voted online. We have had an overwhelming response with over 1500 email addresses registered to vote on the Dogs in Disguise. Everyone who participated looked great and the voting was SO CLOSE in some of the categories.

We raised a total of $230 for Hopeful Hearts with this event

This was a VERY close one. Charlie as “Halloween” won by only 2 votes! He had a total of 162 votes.

Caleb the scary looking Pirate saying “arrrrrrrrrrrgh” won with 227 votes.
