Once again I’d like to thank everyone who participated in this year’s Dogs in Disguise contest – whether by entering your dog in or simply casting your vote. We had over 2000 votes this year!!!
And now, what you’ve all been waiting for:
Voting for the 2009 Dogs in Disguise contest is now open! Voting will take place until Saturday October 31st, 2009 at noon.
Thanks to everyone who participated and helped to raise $220 for BARK Rescue!
When: Sunday August 30, 2009 ~ Noon – 4 pm Registration starts at 11:30 am
Where: Central Experimental Farm (Bldg 60 Birch St)
Cost: $20 per dog two or more dogs $25 (people free) this includes one free hamburger, 1 hotdog and 1 drink,
Steve Boyton of Magic 100 will once again MC the event with his team of Judges.
There will be a BBQ on site, burgers and dogs (veggie too) minimal cost for food.
Fabulous Prizes – Fun Activities all afternoon plus wonderful prizes for each contest . All other entries get fabulous grab bags! Musical Dogs, Obstacle Race, Recall Race, Best Dressed, Dog Owner Look Alike, Best Trick, Most Talkative Pet.
New this year “Silent Auction” with wonderful buys (Gas Cards, Movie Passes, dinners for two) Oil paintings of dogs, Large Cat House etc
Groomer (Pam Casselman) on site doing nail clippings $5 – all proceeds to BARK
Animal Psychic (Elizabeth Wright) will talk to your dog $20 (regular $60) – all proceeds to Bark
The Bark Boutique and Bark Thrift Shop will also be there for more great dog stuff at fantastic prices.
So come out with the whole family, bring a blanket, socialize with other dog owners, have a burger, buy some crafts, bid at the silent auction, enter some contests, for a fun filled afternoon for the whole family.
