Clean and Green

Today is Blog Action Day and the topic is: Climate Change. Now I thought about ways to write about climate change as related to dogs and what I came up with is thinking of ways to make our lives with our dogs greener and therefore having less impact on our environment. I know it’s sort of a stretch but the way I see it is we make greener choices in our dog’s lives which therefore means reducing global warming which is one of the causes of….climate change!

One of the ways we can do this is in our homes with cleaning products. Clean and Green is a company dedicated to producing eco-friendly cleaning solutions for pets. Not only are these products not harmful to the environment, but that means they are super safe to use without worry about adverse effects to your pets and best of all, they are 100% biodegradable!

The company sent me two samples to try a few months ago. To be honest, the Carpet & Upholstery Odor Eliminator, Cleaner & Stain Remover for Dogs didn’t last very long in my cupboard because I kept using it! Any accident the dogs had, it eliminated it completely – it even worked on some stains that had set in from before!

They also sent me the Furniture Refresher Odor Eliminator and Cleaner and I must say, it worked wonders as well. I used to use Febreze, but this does the job without smelling the whole house up – it’s amazing.

Clean and Green products are popping up in dog store everywhere and are definitely available at Bark & Fitz, Global Pet Foods and Petsmart.
