About Liz
Liz Bradley is a dog lover who lives in Ottawa, Ontario with her husband, Thomas, and their two little girls, Paddington and Corduroy. Paddington is a Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie) and was born in September 2006 – she’s a ball of energy and both Thomas and Liz love her to bits. Corduroy is a Malshi (Maltese/Shih Tzu) and was born in January 2008 – she is bold, determined and will lick you constantly if you let her. Liz has many sides to her including, web designer, web developer, graphic designer and photographer.
Ever since Liz was a little girl, she loved dogs. Any type of dog, Liz wanted to know all about it. The library was a regular stop on her journey and she checked out many books about all sorts of different breeds. Her favourite were poodles and when she turned ten, her parents brought home a beautiful black miniature poodle on Victoria Day and she was named Princess Victoria. Princess lived for almost 17 years and was the light of Liz’s life growing up.
Now she has two new lights in the form of a Morkie and a Malshi. Paddington came into her life in November 2007 and has such a wonderful personality. Corduroy, the newest addition, arrived in March 2008 and is the most loving dog Liz and Thomas have ever met. She is bold and determined and has repeatedly escaped from many places, including the back yard. Paddington and Corduroy are developing a wonderful relationship and hopefully they will be best friends for life.
Liz hopes that this blog helps people in Ottawa and beyond to learn more about dogs and their life in Ottawa. She hopes that the website becomes a resource to people looking for a new family pet from a breeder or a shelter. If one dog is saved because of this blog, then Liz feels that it’s worth it even to try.
